New law will require Oregon employers to provide paid sick leave

On June 12, 2015 the Oregon legislature passed Senate Bill 454, which requires Oregon employers to provide employees with at least five days of paid sick leave. Governor Kate Brown is expected to sign the bill. The law will apply only to employers with 10 or more employees.

The Yamhill County Law Library has moved.

Citizens and attorneys in Yamhill County who are interested in performing independent legal research should note that the Yamhill County Law Library is located at a new location: 536 NE 5th St., McMinnville, OR 97128, and has a new telephone number: (503) 434-7444.  The library is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but is staffed only on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
